Please download and complete the Tryout Registration form here (PDF format) (MS Word format), fill it out, and bring it with you to the first day of your tryout.
Tryout Information
Tryouts will take place over two Saturdays: March 13, and March 20 (one week later), 2010. At
MARE ISLAND
All players age 8-18 are welcome to attend!
- 9:00 am to 11:00 am - U10-U13
- 11:00 am to 1:00 pm - U14-U19
Refer to the Age Chart to see the team age divisions. Although it is possible for a younger player to play in an older division, we recommend that you first attend the time for your age group Coaches may decide to ask you to attend an older tryout that day or a later day.
Players should do the following to prepare for the tryout:
- Bring two T-shirts, white and black.
- Wear the proper soccer equipment (shorts, shirt, shinguards, soccer shoes [cleats if tryouts are outdoors, sneakers if they are indoors], and ball).
- You must not wear any uniform with a soccer club insignia, for example, the VYSL uniform.
- Do not wear any jewelry.
- Be ready to play.
- Bring water.
Parents, please arrive early to give enough time for your player to warm up and for you to fill out the release forms and other paperwork.
All players, including returning players, are required to attend at least two of the tryout days, so please plan accordingly.
Rain information: If it rains on a tryout day, check this website for more information. If we are unable to use the field, the tryouts will be moved to the next weekend.

Entrenadores, para ayudar a Tony, por favor de llegar a tiempo y listos para correr su prueba. Hagan que los padres les ayuden a llenar los papeles (cuando menos 2 o 3 personas por equipo al momento de su prueba.)
