Jamboree Rules

Home team is listed first. Home team will provide the game ball.

Games will be 40 minutes (2 halves of 20 minutes each).

Each team will consist of 9 players each.

Home team will change color in the event of color conflict.

No jewelry will be allowed.

In order to play, all players must have CYSA passes.

In the event of a SEND OFF, the player is automatically given a minimum one game suspension. The Tournament Directors will review all ejections the same evening and apply suspensions for the applicable infraction using CYSA guidelines.

All games are final and no protest will be allowed.

Alcoholic beverages and smoking are prohibited at all fields.

Good Sportsmanship is expected from all persons.

Coaches are responsible for the conduct of their players, parents and other spectators.

Scoring

Standings will be determined by total points over the entire game schedule.

Win = 3 points

Tie = 1 point

Loss = 0 points

In the event of a tie at the end of the tournament, each team will have the opportunity to select five player's for a SHOOTOUT.  These player's must have been on the field at the end of normal play. 

Check-In / Starting Time / Forfeiture

Coaches/ Managers must sign their team 1 hour before their first game on Saturday on their designated field.

Teams must arrive at the field at least 30 minutes before scheduled game for check of game card, player passes and equipment check.

The referee has the responsibility of starting the game on time. Any team failing to be on the field with at least 7 players, or leaving the field during the game (leaving less than 7 players), shall forfeit the game.

The team not forfeiting will be the winner and awarded three (3) points and one (1) goal point.

Awards

Trophies will be awarded to the first, second and third place teams.
